A good start leaves you wanting to return. Your first visit does not need to feel like an exam.

A weight is a tool, not proof of your worth. An exercise you cannot control deserves an adjustment.
Notice whether movement is smooth, your position stays stable and you can repeat the action. A qualified instructor's demonstration is more useful than a random short post.
Different bodies have different comfortable positions. Do not force an exact angle from someone else's photo or treat pain as evidence that an exercise works.
