A training diary can be a simple phone note. Its purpose is to show what works and what strains you.
Record the date, exercises, repetitions and a short effort rating. Add sleep or unusual stress when relevant to the day.
Review several weeks together. One weak session does not define a trend, and a personal best does not need repeating on every visit.
